On 20 August 2019, the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government launched the “Guangdong Business Connect” mobile app for about 12 million commercial users in the province to download.  This platform integrates administrative matters at all levels of government.  Representatives of enterprise only need to log in through mobile phones and, with unified identity authentication, can apply for 275 types of enterprise-related service.

Since the platform has been linked to the databases of enterprises, electronic licenses, population and social data, etc., documentary proof for applications can be exempted for 136 types of service.  Besides, the platform can automatically integrate taxation, electricity consumption and other data of enterprises and generate analysis reports for financial institutions, thereby accelerating loan application processes.  

Entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macau can also use the services provided by “Guangdong Business Connect” after setting up an account with information of their enterprises registered in Guangdong.
