The Startup Council Gathering with Austrian Tech Startups, co-organised by the Hong Kong Startup Council and the Austrian Trade Commission Hong Kong, was successfully held on 14th November 2023.

During the event, representatives from eight Austrian startups showcased their innovative products, services, and business solutions to FHKI members. These startups span a range of industries, including energy technology, artificial intelligence, the creative industry, real estate and construction, bio-tech, and med-tech. The startup representatives took full advantage of this valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, establish connections, and explore collaboration opportunities with the guests. Their goal is to expand their business presence and create a conducive environment for further growth and development.

Jimmy Tao, Chairman of the Hong Kong Startup Council, warmly welcomed the Austrian startups and expressed his enthusiasm for future cross-regional exchanges and cooperation. The event aims to foster the growth and development of the startup ecosystems in both Hong Kong and Austria.
