FHKI Group 8 (Food, Beverage & Tobacco) organised a meeting with the Taiwan Federation of Commerce on 11 August 2025, with a joint visit to Gifts of Hong Kong Ltd – Gifts of Hong Kong Smart Food Factory. 

FHKI Chairman Mr Anthony Lam, together with Group 8 Chairman Mr Ian Lo and Vice-chairman Mr Eric Ng led the delegation of over 15 members to meet with Chairman of the Taiwan Federation of Commerce, along with more than 20 Taiwanese business representatives. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to gain deeper insights into each other’s market landscape.

The itinerary was rich and engaging, featuring a tour of the smart production facilities at Gifts of Hong Kong Ltd – Gifts of Hong Kong Smart Food Factory, product sharing and tasting sessions with Taiwanese enterprises, and a networking dinner. Both parties held in-depth discussions on topics such as food innovation, smart manufacturing, and market trends, exploring new opportunities for cross-border collaboration between Hong Kong and Taiwan businesses.
