"BOCHK Corporate Low-Carbon Environmental Leadership Awards 2025 Prize Presentation cum 2026 Launching Ceremony" was successfully held on 19 August 2026 at HKCEC. This significant event was honoured by the presence of Ms Diane Wong, the Acting Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the HKSAR Government, who, along with FHKI leadership and BOCHK Deputy Chief Executive Wang Huabin, presented the 2025 awards and kicked off the 2026 Awards.

The "BOCHK Corporate Low-Carbon Environmental Leadership Awards" is an initiative organised by FHKI and fully supported by BOCHK. The awards aim to drive eco-friendly initiatives across the manufacturing, services, and property management sectors in Hong Kong and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.

The 2025 Awards witnessed unprecedented participation from over 1100 enterprises, including 315 first-time entrants. The Awards featured 21 award categories. In addition to the existing Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards for Manufacturing, Services, and Property Management, Gold, Silver, and Bronze SME Awards continue to be offered for SMEs in the Manufacturing and Services sectors to encourage their active participation in environmental protection. Other awards include the “Belt and Road Environmental Leadership Recognition Award”, “Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area Environmental Leadership Recognition Award”, and “Outstanding Sustainability Corporate Award 10+”

In addition to the awards presentation, it is honoured to invite Ms Jane Tong, Vice President of the SME Sustainability Society and Co-Founder & Managing Director of GIORMANI with FOUR representatives of enterprise whose won the gold award, including the Gold Awardee in the Manufacturing Sector – Ir Raymond Cheung of the Division Manager, Operations And Environmental Business from the Green Island Cement Company, Limited; Gold Awardee in the Services Sector and SME Gold Awardee in the Services Sector – Ms Joyce Lee of the Director from the Crown Gas Stoves (Holdings) Company Limited; Gold Awardee in the Property Management Sector –– Mr Jan Ng of the Property Manger from the New Charm Management Limited – AIRSIDE and SME Gold Awardee in the Manufacturing Sector – Mr Victor Li of the General Manager from the Dunwell Technology (Holdings) Limited. They shared a series of succinct and practical tips to help businesses, particularly SMEs, integrate sustainable development principles into their operations.

  • Saved electricity consumption by more than 370 million kWh (equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of over 110,000 Hong Kong households)
  • Saved more than 14 million cubic meters of water usage (equivalent to the water consumption of more than 5,700 Olympic-sized swimming pools)
  • Reduced waste disposal by over 26.8 million tonnes (equivalent to the weight of nearly 4.87 million African elephants)
  • More than 7.19 million tonnes of materials were recycled (equivalent to the net weight of 480,000 double-decker buses)
  • Reduced air emissions by over 460,000 tonnes (equivalent to the annual CO2 absorbed by 38.7 million trees)

Registration for the Awards 2026 is now open and will continue until 30 October 2026! The first 40 SME enterprises to register for the "EcoChallenger" will be granted a full subsidy of HK$4,500 for the assessment fee.
