The HKSAR Government's steadfast commitment to fostering the local environmental industry was prominently displayed at the 23rd edition of CIEPEC 2025. The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) established the Hong Kong Pavilion, providing a strategic platform for environmental enterprises and organisations from Hong Kong to showcase their cutting-edge technologies, services, and products, while forging valuable business connections with partners from the mainland and overseas markets.
Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), entrusted by the EPD, successfully organised the Hong Kong Pavilion, bringing together 12 companies and organisations that represented a diverse range of specialties. These exhibitors showcased their innovative solutions in areas such as technology, products, engineering services, consultancy services, environmental education, recycling promotion, government funding, and the import and export trade of plastic materials.
The Pavilion featured an impressive array of exhibits related to air quality, green architecture, energy efficiency, testing, analysis and certification, water treatment and water quality management, green transportation, waste management, environmental research, green finance, environmental and ESG consultancy services, and noise pollution prevention. These exhibits demonstrated the depth and breadth of Hong Kong's environmental industry.
Recognising the importance of fostering industry collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Hong Kong Pavilion incorporated a communal area designed to facilitate dialogue among professionals. Through seminars, talks, and interactive sessions, exhibitors and visitors had the opportunity to explore potential collaborations, share market insights, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and developments in Hong Kong's environmental sector.
Building on the previous year's success, exhibitors could showcase their products on the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's online platform, creating additional business prospects for the industry and facilitating global exposure. The Hong Kong Pavilion at CIEPEC 2025 served as a testament to the government's dedication to nurturing the local environmental industry and positioning Hong Kong as a hub for innovative and sustainable solutions.
