The FHKI Young Executive Council ("YEC") successfully organised the Mission to Vietnam from 23 Sept to 26 Sept 2024, attracted 14 participants came together to explore business opportunities in Vietnam.
Led by YEC Chairman Mr Kriston Sun, Vice Chairmen Ms Serena Cheng and Mr Nicholas Lai, the delegation visited the Saigon Hi-Tech Park ("SHTP") and the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park ("VSIP") to understand Vietnam's support and infrastructure for high-tech research and industrial development.
The delegation also visited Garden Ecology Bảo Gia Vien and Bảo Gia Farm, both operated by the local SeaCorp Group, to learn about the operational management in Vietnam, as well as the development of organic agriculture and aquaculture.
Finally, the delegation visited the First Team Knitting Factory, which is part of the Nameson Group and a FHKI member, as well as the Japanese Commerce and Industry Chamber of Ho Chi Minh City ("JCCH"). Through direct communication with management, the delegation gained deeper insights into the management experiences for foreign investment establishing factories in Vietnam.
The delegation provided participants with a multi-faceted understanding of Vietnam's economy, human resources, and land policies, allowing participants to recognise opportunities in Vietnam and explore further business prospects.
