The Hong Kong Intellectual Property Council (HKIPC) was established in 2005 under the umbrella of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI). The purpose is to enhance and strengthen global awareness of Intellectual Property protection. Our mission is to act as a platform for sharing and cultivating Intellectual Property knowledge. In collaboration with FHKI’s Intellectual Property Centre, we organize and facilitate various activities including corporate training events, seminars, and such. HKIPC also provides advisory services for its members.

HKIPC is dedicated in promoting Intellectual Property to society by organizing a wide range of events such as seminars, forums, and training courses. HKIPC engages in joint research projects with the government, academia, industry organizations and other stakeholders to enhance the Intellectual Property landscape. Our goal is to create a richer environment for local entrepreneurs by empowering them on an international level.

HKIPC is the issuing body for the “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme since 2006. Our reputation has played a key role in establishing a positive image in society. HKIPC members are entitled to participate in the “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme. Just in 2022 alone, more than 1000 stores have participated in the scheme through HKIPC.

The “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme is coordinated and adjudicated by the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSAR Government. Businesses displaying the “No Fakes Pledge” logo commit to not selling counterfeits or pirated products, thus enhancing their credibility for customers.

Join the program today to build a positive image and set yourself apart. Make a commitment to sell genuine products and increase the value of your business.
